DMCA Copyright Policy

APEX Adult Studios LLC respects copyright and responds to complete notices of claimed infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 512. Because only APEX publishes content, a valid notice will be escalated directly to the studio owner and the identified material may be disabled while the claim is reviewed.

Notice of claimed infringement

A written notice should include:

  1. a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent;
  2. identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list for multiple works;
  3. identification and location of the material claimed to infringe, including the specific APEX URL or release title;
  4. your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or law; and
  6. a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the owner.

APEX’s formal Copyright Office designated-agent name and postal address must be added here if and when a designation is filed. An email policy alone is not a substitute for that federal registration when registration is required to claim a safe harbor.

Counter-notice

If material was removed because of mistake or misidentification, the affected provider of that material may send a counter-notice containing a signature; identification of the removed material and its former location; a statement under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification; the sender’s name, address, and telephone number; and consent to the jurisdiction and service-of-process provisions required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). APEX may restore material when legally permitted.

Misrepresentations and repeat infringement

A person who knowingly materially misrepresents infringement or lawful use may be liable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). APEX may terminate accounts linked to repeat infringement in appropriate circumstances.
